Biography:
Stephanie Weiss, owner After graduating from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a degree in fashion marketing and merchandising, Stephanie Weiss gained five years of bridal fashion and marketing experience to bring her latest endeavor to life. But a degree and years of experience cannot speak for what it takes to make your vision a reality. Ella Weiss Wedding Design is the concrete interpretation of a young woman’s vision. Stephanie Weiss created her own opportunities to learn everything she could about fashion and marketing so that one day she could successfully open her own bridal boutique. |

Stephanie witnessed every step of fashion from idea conception to
runway at the renowned Paris Fashion Institute. After becoming a designer
specialist for Neiman Marcus, she worked closely with Amsale, a couture
wedding dress line. Stephanie traveled to New York City each season
and met with the Neiman buyer to choose the gowns that best fit the
St. Louis target market. Here she educated the staff on the new lines
and their selling points. She gained valuable knowledge of bridal
fabrics, designers and the wedding industry. As a marketing director,
Stephanie developed, implemented and managed marketing/sales plans
and advertising campaigns. These vast experiences enable Stephanie to operate a boutique in her own way. She understands the importance of relating to the customer and always giving them something extra. Stephanie noticed a trend of stressed out, overwhelmed, modern brides and wanted to change that through simplification, empowerment and a lot of pampering. She has the ability to put her own stamp on wedding culture by placing the bride back on her luxurious pedestal. Stephanie allows the bride’s own sense of style and personality to shine through to ensure the vision of her dream wedding becomes a reality. Stephanie’s creative mind and eye for detail has turned her boutique into a haven for brides to come and know they’ll be taken care of. A vision of couture gowns, refreshing atmosphere and exceptional service embodies everything Ella. |

| Stephanie’s
great-grandmother, Ella, was an elegant woman who defined her own
timeless sense of style. She left an impression on everyone she met
and her fashionable reputation followed her throughout her life. Ella
was diminutive and always carried herself with grace, but at the same
time she was undeniably strong, living to be 102 years old. Her sweet
and generous personality was always wrapped up in a neat, little package.
