Do
I really need an appointment?
Ella Weiss Wedding Design is here to give you the attention you
deserve. While we do not require an appointment, we do encourage
you to make one prior to your first visit so that we can give you
the best service available. Would
you like to set up an appointment today?
How many people can I bring
to an appointment?
As many as you want. However, we recommend that you bring only 2
or 3 of your trusted family members and friends. If you plan to
bring more than 3 guests, or if you or any of your guests have special
needs, please let us know ahead of time so that we can be prepared
to accommodate them.
I’ve been a certain
size for many years. Why do I need to be measured?
Sizes vary by designer. Especially in bridal fashion, different
designers have different measurements assigned to size numbers.
Plus, you want to be measured to ensure the perfect fit for your
perfect gown. To correctly measure yourself click
here for a quick tutorial.
How soon should I order my
dress?
It normally takes 3-4 months to have a couture dress made and we
like to leave at least a month for alterations. You should order
your dress 6 months before your wedding date. And don’t forget
about shopping time to choose your dream design. Click
here for some wedding planning tips to ensure a flawless wedding
day.
What should I bring to my
fittings?
You should bring the undergarments and shoes you plan on wearing
the day of your wedding. This ensures perfect measurements so the
dress is tailored exactly for a perfect fit.
What is a trunk show?
A trunk show is an opportunity for you to see the designer’s
entire collection, including dresses that are not normally available
to try on in the salon. Occasionally, the designer or designer’s
representative will attend the trunk show, giving you special attention
and the ability to create a one-of-a-kind custom gown. Check
out our calendar of events for upcoming shows.
In what ways can I personalize
my wedding?
There a number of ways to make your wedding completely you. You
can incorporate a family heirloom with your dress or choose special
color accents. Think about the special times between you and your
fiancé. If he proposed at the beach, you could add sea shells
to the decor. Serve classic Italian dishes at your reception if
the two of you fell in love over chicken parmesan. Small things
can add the most personal touches of intimacy to any celebration
of love. |
